Dishwashing has always been my least favourite chore while camping, so much so that I’d limit my meals to things that involved the least amount of dishes/pans. Just used my Quick Sink Kit on a camping trip this weekend—me and all my friends were super happy with it and how easy it made washing up after meals. It’s a simple but ingenious and innovative invention, and supporting a small, Canadian business is nice!
So happy with the quick sink kit, this thing is awesome! Our Scout Troop just got back from a week long camping trip, and I have never seen them so enthusiastic about washing their hands! Usually we have a wash basin set up, but it's chronically underused. For this camp I ran out of hand soap after 3 days and had to buy more, that's never happened before. Over 7 days I only had to charge it 2.5 times which I think is pretty good, considering we had 21 people in camp washing hands multiple times a day. Our white buckets were stained brown at the bottom by the end of the week, a good sign that these kids needed those hands washed and it was doing its job! Thanks Firdale for such a simple solution, this is coming with the troop on every camping trip from now on.
Absolutely perfect addition to our camping fun! Just got home from a camping trip with a few friends and all of our kids. There was no access to handwashing and the children loved being able to clean their hands with our firdale setup. Setup was a breeze, the dispensar has an auto shutoff to conserve battery (perfect when camping with kids who often forget!) highly recommend for any campsite or day trip!
